The Startup Program is designed for early-stage software companies with a live product and growing user base. It's meant for companies in growth mode: experimenting, releasing frequently and learning from real users.
To keep the program focused and fair, we apply a few eligibility criteria.
You qualify if:
- ✓ Your company was founded less than 5 years ago
- ✓ You've raised under $5M USD in total funding
- ✓ You have a live website or product
- ✓ You haven't had a paid ConfigCat subscription in the past 12 months
Not sure if you qualify? Apply anyway, we review each application individually. Review takes up to one week.
How we grow together
The Startup Program is built as a partnership. In exchange for startup-friendly pricing, we ask participating teams to help us improve and grow through honest feedback and shared experience. The goal is learning from real teams building real products.

- ✓ Contributing a short case study about how you use ConfigCat, which we may publish on our website
- ✓ Providing occasional feedback through surveys or short conversations
To keep expectations clear on both sides, participating teams sign a Startup Program agreement that outlines these commitments in straightforward terms.
Completion of the agreed commitments is required to receive the second-year discount.
We coordinate timing together, there's no expectation to complete everything at once.

- Without a paid ConfigCat subscription in the past 12 months
Config JSON download and network traffic limits are soft limits. If you temporarily exceed them, we'll continue service your requests, your traffic will not be interrupted.
If sustained usage consistently exceeds your plan, we’ll reach out to discuss the appropriate plan adjustment. Any changes during the Startup Program are coordinated with our team so the discount can be applied correctly.
