What's New in ConfigCat's Dashboard
We've been working on some updates to make the ConfigCat dashboard easier and more enjoyable for managing your feature flags. Let's take a quick look at these new features.
Dark Mode
Dark Mode has been one of the most requested features, and we're happy to announce that it's now available! Whether you're working late or just prefer a darker interface, you can easily switch to Dark mode in the main menu or let it automatically follow your device's or browser's dark mode setting.
Here's how to enable Dark Mode in your ConfigCat dashboard:
-
Click on your profile picture in the top left corner to open the dropdown menu.
-
Click the "Switch to dark mode" option. You can switch back to light mode at any time by clicking the "Switch to light mode" option. Here's a demo of how it works:
Filter by Tags
Organizing feature flags just got a lot simpler with our updated tag-filtering feature. You can filter by single and multiple tags, and the feature flags with any of those tags will be filtered and displayed for you. This is especially useful when you have many feature flags and need to find specific ones quickly.
Here's what you can do with the new tag-filtering feature:
- View and select from all your available tags in a dropdown list by clicking the filter input field.
- Add single and multiple tags to filter by.
- Remove individual tags from the filter by clicking the 'x' icon next to the tag.
- See all feature flags with those tags instantly.
Expand all, Collapse all, and Reorder menu
We've added a new menu for the Expand, Collapse All, and Reorder functions. You can now use the 'Expand all' and 'Collapse all' options to customize your view and reorder the feature flags in your team's preferred order.
Collapsed flags now take up less space, keeping things compact:
